Myofascial pain syndrome

Myofascial pain syndrome is a life-long chronic muscle pain and functional disorder problem that is felt in most parts of the body and has no rules for pain management. Locally or diffusely, this pain may be accompanied by weakness and disorders of movement in the affected muscle groups, and limitations in the joint. Myofascial trigger points are prominent. These trigger points can be described as pain or compression (adhesion) in the bands stretched over the muscles, or in the fascia structure that surrounds the muscles.

There are various treatment methods for myofascial pain. These are combined analgesics (spray and stretching etc.), electrotherapy agents TENS, ultrasound as well as; Dry needling, acupuncture, injection, myofascial release, massage and manual techniques are used frequently in clinics.
